“Warning: Using These Practice Techniques
Will Transform Your Playing… and FAST!”
My name is Clayton Haslop and before I learned the program I’m now following, I thought I was an accomplished violinist.
My critically acclaimed solo debut at age 20 with Sir Neville Marriner and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra was proof that I had “made it.” At 21 I was busy working as a freelance violinist on the hallowed scoring stages of Hollywood.
Life was good.
Then my life was turned upside down. What I learned shocked me from ear to ear.
How One of the Greatest Violinists of the 20th Century Changed My Life.
I met the internationally renowned violinist Nathan Milstein when I was given the opportunity to attend his two-week Masterclass in Zurich Switzerland. Before meeting him I thought my technique was strong.
Within minutes of watching Milstein up close and personal I knew he “had me.”
Let me tell you, once I saw how effortlessly Milstein was playing in his late 70s, I couldn’t look the other way. As a result I spent three years traveling to Milstein’s home in London, attending his class in Zurich, and meeting with him at various concert destinations.
Our lessons regularly lasted three hours or more. And guess who was doing most of the playing? The so-called “old man”! I had to adopt his ‘less is more’ approach myself, even if it meant saying “Okay, I’ve wasted a lot of time doing it the wrong way.”
One Secret Nearly Had me Drop My Violin
One fine spring day, while playing Paganini’s G Minor Caprice (#16) for Milstein the subject of holding the violin came up.
“Hold your violin with your left hand,” he said to me.
“I was taught to hold the violin with my chin and shoulder,” I replied.
Milstein then played the Caprice with the violin resting on his chest. I was dumbfounded — it was like magic. Here he was moving all over the violin without any gripping action from his chin and shoulder.
When I attempted to duplicate his feat, I nearly dropped my violin.
He then explained to me that it wasn’t necessary to play the 16th Caprice with the violin on my chest. What was important was to develop a balanced, efficient left hand.
As worthwhile as this one point was, it was only a penny’s worth compared to the combined treasure I received. With each new insight my playing became more facile and the learning of new music more complete.
Equip Your Playing for ANY Eventuality in Less Time Than You Ever Dreamed Possible!
Does this sound too good to be true? Consider these words spoken to me by Nathan Milstein: “If you practice with your hands you must practice all day. Practice with your mind and you can accomplish the same amount in minutes.”
If you’ve been looking for a way of practicing that takes you from the doldrums of endless repetition to learning super effective playing secrets, a method that can be mastered by young and old, amateur and professional, teacher and student — that gets you into the best playing shape of your life and rids you of bad habits, lackluster bowing and less than accurate intonation — as well as a program that puts your mind power and ability to ‘breathe’ to great use, then sit tight because what you’re going to read may turn out to be the greatest violin breakthrough of your life.
Over many years I have tweaked all this knowledge to perfection resulting in a whole new program of violin technique. After all, when a septuagenarian can do things a 23-year old cannot do, that tells you that “Yes, there’s gold in them there hills.”
These principles have benefited my students and colleagues alike — in fact, the results can only be described as awe-inspiring and PROOF that this system works, and works FAST.
“Wow! I have been using your counting technique for two weeks, and I am amazed at how quickly I have become more in control, fluid, and rhythmically solid. Your tips are invaluable – every string player needs to see these. Also, the duplicate CDs are a great idea. It’s a fantastic package.”

Making Movies Come Alive in Hollywood
Now let me tell you how this program has been invaluable for my life as a professional “first call” Hollywood studio violinist.
Imagine yourself sitting concertmaster of an orchestra of 100 elite musicians. You’re not on a concert stage, but on the dark, cavernous sound stage of a major motion picture studio. A red light has just illuminated above. It’s been only minutes since you were given the piece of music you are about to record. The part contains several pages of cascading 16th notes. Suddenly, you hear 4 fast clicks coming through an earphone attached to your right ear…
This is a reality I face on a regular basis. To be successful recording for motion pictures, as I have been, you must have 1. incredibly solid playing fundamentals and 2. the ability to master difficult music, PRONTO!
These same skills are what makes playing the violin really fun and rewarding, no matter what your aspirations are. Professional. Student. Dedicated Amateur. It makes no difference. You always want your ‘game’ to be the best it can be.
Who is Kreutzer for Violin Mastery for?
It’s for the busy professional violinist who is pressed to learn new music efficiently and completely.
It’s for the dedicated amateur who is looking to ignite their passion.
It’s for the serious student who is eager for an ‘outside the box’ experience.
It’s for the teacher who is open to a refreshing view on technique.
And…It’s for the man or woman who hasn’t picked up the violin in years.
“I just received my Kreutzer for Violin Mastery course and I am extremely happy! The course and the newsletter (I love the newsletter!) are just what I needed to jump-start my practicing and playing into a new level of enjoyment and satisfaction. When I think about what private lessons of the same calibre might cost me, the DVD/CD/Manual collection is a downright bargain – but the inspiration is priceless.”
Forgotten Principles Bring Spectacular Results
Are the principles in Kreutzer for Violin Mastery NEW? Well, not really. They go back many, many years and tap into what some call the universal principles of self-mastery. Some got lost in the shuffle when fast-paced living took the breath out of playing. Milstein received some of these ancient principles from his teachers and picked up others because of his keen desire to keep learning.
So although they aren’t NEW, they’re “New to YOU!”
The main reason Kreutzer for Violin Mastery works is because it targets all the inefficiencies in your playing. Powerful focus techniques retrain and condition those weak links. As a result your playing becomes stronger, more fluid, and more enjoyable. Just 30 minutes a day with this approach will bring a HUGE payoff in results.
You get functional strength, mental endurance and flexibility — all at the same time. Not to mention experiencing the profound satisfaction of playing your instrument effortlessly. The only way to achieve this level of joy is to start DOING. And get results.
“When the first Kreutzer package came I opened it right away, followed the simple instructions about breathing, counting, fingering, intonation, etc., and noticed an immediate and surprising ease of playing.
I think working through your Kreutzer in tandem will allow me to do more than learn a difficult piece, but will increase my fundamental technique as well. That will come in handy, since I have been asked to teach some Masterclasses at a Czech conservatory this coming summer. Kreutzer is going with me.”

“I read your ad in Strings magazine and will be forever grateful that I ordered the Kreutzer course.I was practicing, but knew that I needed help with my playing. I was deceived in thinking that because I travel so much and my schedule was so full that it was impossible to connect with a teacher for instruction to improve my technique. I now carry your instructional DVD’s and CD’s on my video iPod and watch and listen to them while I am waiting in airports, on flights or riding the train. I look forward to my practice time each day as I pick up my violin and apply what I have listened to earlier in the day.
“I know I have so much work to and still need a lot of help, but I also know that I have made tremendous progress in the area of relaxation and my practice techniques. My playing has really begun to improve. I highly recommend your course to violinists.”

“This last weekend I was playing the second violin in the slow movement of Beethoven’s Op 127. Your counting technique in the Kreutzer course was very much in my mind whilst playing and I was grateful to you! It helped a lot.
“A few years ago I started lessons with a well-known London quartet leader and much of my lesson time is taken up on concentrating on bow technique and sound quality. Your DVDs compliment that teaching and makes me think afresh on the problems of playing the violin.”
“Your DVD instructions are superb.”
“As a violinist in rock/pop/folk bands I need be able to perform over 50 songs from memory during a typical 3-hour club show. While making it look effortless I must pay close attention to the other band members.
I’ve found your imaging technique useful in helping me to focus on what I need to be doing while performing in what can be a very chaotic environment.”
“Although I have only been your Kreutzer Course for a short time (two months) I have enjoyed your instructions very much and know that I am receiving a great benefit from their use. The ability to view your playing of each etude, along with your explanation of their execution is providing me with both inspiration and some musical understanding regarding execution that was escaping me until now. As the forty-two etudes are extremely demanding, I am confident that they will provide me with a rich variety of musical challenges and experiences in the years to come.
Once again, thanks for taking the time to provide aspiring violinists with such quality learning tools.”
“I have already seen a part of your instructions on how to achieve a high degree of ability to play on violin. I must confess that what you are doing is really fantastic and must be appreciated by all musicians, particularly those concerned with violin. You are doing a great job and I have recommended your DVDs to all my students.”
